Microsoft Word

I enjoyed learning some more of the capibilites of Word and how they can be implemented into things I do at work. I do use Word and some programs related to it because I do 4-H Newsletters and FCS Newsletters at work. I didn't realize it had so much to offer as far as the graphics and inserting pictures. I do like to add things to keep the kids interested and to keep it from looking so wordy. I also make flyers that advertise classes that I may be offering within our county, but I usually use Print Shop and it is sometimes hard to work with so now I have an alternative!

Bloglines and Del.icio.us

The Educational Technology we are learning is great! I really enjoyed the lesson over bloglines and Del.icio.us. I have already incorporated some of the things we have learned in this class to my work. On Monday I created a blog for the 4-H kids in our county. I think I will get a lot more interaction from them and they will be able to keep up with upcoming activities and important deadlines or dates. I also added the address to my bloglines account so that it would be easier for me to keep up with incoming messages.
It was interesting to learn about Del.icio.us and all the capabilities that it has also. I don't know how much I will use it but I at least know it is out there and available if I need it. I look forward to this week's class!
